MOHS RECONSTRUCTION SURGERY

BEFORE/AFTER

At English Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center, we are completed dedicated to helping our patients achieve a higher quality of life through exceptional plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures. Mohs reconstruction surgery helps give patients with malignant lesions on their facial features a better chance at a comfortable life.

Named after founder Dr. Frederic Mohs, Mohs reconstruction surgery can help patients who have skin cancer remove the affected areas successfully without disturbing the surrounding, noncancerous skin. This procedure is highly recommended for all patients suffering from malignant skin lesions due to cancerous cells as it has an incredible success rate. Mohs reconstructive surgery can be performed in various parts of the face, including the lips, nose, forehead, ears, and more. Using donor flaps or similar surgical procedure, skin from varying parts of the body is harvested and can be used to repair the area once the cancerous skin has been removed.

You can see the results of Mohs reconstruction surgery on actual patients who were suffering from skin cancer in the before and after pictures below.
