Although our generation has become very sophisticated with facial plastic and cosmetic surgical terms and the associated procedures designed to enhance one's appearance, all too often, confusion can exist as to what are the areas of the face being considered and what can be done about them.  As technology has evolved, each area of the face has been compartmentalized into the lower, the middle and the upper portions and each has its own unique set of techniques employed to improve them individually or jointly.  As desribed below, the face is divided into thirds and the most common procedures associated with each is discussed.  I often use analogy to convey the truest sense of meaning and as we explore the necessary information you need to better understand what is what, please feel free to ask questions in whatever format you feel most comfortable.
